As the Service Maintenance Technician at DSV, you’re the technical brain who prevents malfunctions, solves problems efficiently, and ensures that all our installations stay in top condition. At our rapidly growing logistics campus in Venlo, you are the one who ensures that the technical facilities at one of our advanced sites are always in perfect condition. You know the building inside out and make sure that all installations, from climate control systems to lifts and from fire alarm systems to automation equipment. You’re on it.

How you do this?

As the Service Maintenance Technician, you are the eyes and ears of the coordinator. Not only will you carry out complex tasks yourself, but you will also act as the link between operations and technical solutions. You assess technical requests from the operational team, investigate their feasibility, and translate them into concrete solutions. You achieve this by: 

• analysing and resolving complex malfunctions;
• supervising suppliers and monitoring their work;
• performing maintenance and identifying improvement opportunities;
• managing work permits and ensuring safety compliance.

Your team stands out within DSV for its collegial atmosphere. You will work closely with fourteen facility colleagues who always support one another. You will also collaborate with security, QHSE, procurement, and, of course, your colleagues from operations. DSV is growing fast and that demands a lot from the team. You bring

• experience in a technical field, for example in facility management or maintenance of machinery and/or installations;
• knowledge of systems such as HVAC, electrical systems, and fire alarm installations;
• experience with work permits and working safely (VCA or equivalent);
• good communication skills in both Dutch and English, and willingness to participate in on-call services.
