As a site manager, you are ultimately responsible for the daily operation (approximately 450 FTE) of our multi-client 3PL location in Venlo. You report directly to our senior director and are part of the regional management team. You ensure that quality always comes first and that established standards, procedures, and rules are met. You are P&L responsible and continuously manage KPIs/targets and the workforce. You will achieve this by: 


•    managing an existing and efficient operation and achieving agreed-upon KPI targets;
•    actively contributing to the development of your team by assessing capacities and qualities to ensure the right people are in the right positions;
•    being able to switch between functional needs and technical solutions to reach (structural) solutions;
•    setting priorities, driving improvement projects, and continuously challenging our service delivery.

You bring

•    passion for the job, your enthusiasm is contagious to others;
•    experience in a leadership role within a 3PL organisation;
•    knowledge of and experience with lean and managing significant improvement and innovation projects within a large warehouse;
•    analytical skills with which you identify bottlenecks and define solutions o
r process improvements;
•    good communication skills in both English and Dutch.
