Group Compliance is one of the Group functionalities organised from its headquarters in Denmark and includes several departments (Legal, Tax, CSR, Customs & Trade Compliance, and others). Group Compliance reports directly to the Group Executive Team. The position mentioned above concerns a role in Group Customs & Trade Compliance, focusing on Trade Compliance. Although part of the Group organisation is in Denmark, the position is filled in Poland.
Your responsibilities
- Transaction and customer screening against various sanction lists
- Conducting shipment reviews, providing guidance and advice on internal and external export controls requirements
- Initiating, driving and implementing continuous improvements
- Communicating effectively with Business Partners
- Working as part of the team to ensure the day-to-day activities and workflow are adequately prioritised to suit shifting demands
- Updating records with relevant information in accurate and timely manner
- Operating in line with relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager
Our requirements
- An advanced knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Work experience in the field of export controls and/or sanctions is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with management and other internal parties to communicate practical solutions to problems or the implementation of improved systems, processes or controls.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently within deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of quality and competency.
- A strong sense of responsibility.
- A process-oriented, organised, and structured way of working.
- A proactive, goal-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communicative skills, tactfulness, and diplomacy.
- Good IT skills.
