Group Sustainability & Compliance in DSV is looking for a Data Analyst who can help us transform and optimise our data analytics for greater insight. You will be a part of a newly created team and you will work closely with department management and key business stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities:


As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and interpreting requirements to build reports and data analytics to share with relevant stakeholders. You will proactively communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and, importantly, provide advisory support to help them gain deeper insights within their respective areas.

  • Investigate ideas/problems in regard to data and reporting, assigned by Group Sustainability & Compliance management
  • Gather, review and analyse business requirements 
  • Design and build reports and data analytics capabilities in various systems such as MS PowerBI, MS Excel, MS Visio ServiceNow and more. 
  • Participate in vendor selections to ensure that the proposed application can be used to deliver on the reporting needs 
  • Support with transforming business needs into reporting requirements during application implementations

 

You will be part of the new Systems & Processes team, which will eventually consist various business stakeholders including System Owners (also known as Product Owners), Business Development Manager, Process Specialists. The team will work closely together to enable DSV’s growth and scalability.

 

Required Competencies:


Ideally, you are someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys understanding how the business operates and takes pleasure in transforming business needs into data analytics and reports.

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Legal or other relevant field, or equivalent education/experience
  • Preferably 1-3 years of experience with building reports and data analytics 
  • Experience with MS PowerBI, MS Excel or other data analytical tools
  • Interest within sustainability & compliance domains preferred
  • Advanced English communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt to a dynamic environment
