As our Group Process Owner, you will:
Lead Process Governance & System Excellence
- Own and continuously improve master data processes, standards, governance frameworks, and documentation.
- Define and maintain process documentation, business requirements, data dictionaries, and operating standards.
- Identify and mitigate process risks while ensuring compliance and governance across the organization.
- Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives within the MDM landscape.
Drive Testing & Release Management
- Define testing strategies, scope, and quality standards.
- Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Lead release planning, testing kick-offs, stakeholder alignment, defect management, and go-live readiness.
- Ensure business requirements are fully covered and validated before implementation.
Partner with Business & IT
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Gather and translate business requirements into practical and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions, IT teams, Global Business Services, and system owners.
- Balance business priorities and technical capabilities to drive the most effective outcomes.
Champion Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Design future-state processes with a strong focus on standardization, automation, digitalization, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency and master data quality.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies to deliver measurable results.
- Support innovation by challenging existing ways of working and introducing smarter solutions.
Ensure Data Quality
- Develop data quality metrics, monitoring tools, and governance controls.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Conduct audits and governance reviews to ensure compliance with established standards.
Lead Projects & Change Initiatives
- Manage projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Coordinate project activities, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support strategic initiatives within the Master Data Management function and broader organization.
Required experience
- Experience working with Data Governance solutions, preferably SAP MDG.
- Experience with SAP ERP or other enterprise finance systems.
- Strong background in master data management, governance, and process improvement.
- Experience creating business requirements, process documentation, and governance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience driving automation, continuous improvement, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with testing and release management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and project management methodologies.
- Exposure to project management certifications such as PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma.
