Your responsibilities:

  • Execute daily tasks related to Cisco Telephony/UC operations and maintenance, including Incident Management, Problem Management and Request Fulfilment ITIL processes

  • Monitoring and support implementation/integration of Unified Communications solutions

  • Work closely with external vendors on variety of requests, issues, and projects

  • Create and update operational documentation

 

Our requirements:

  • Practical knowledge about Cisco Unified Communications

  • Experience with Cisco UC, Expressway Edge, and Webex - CCNA/CCNP Collaboration certifications or equivalent level of skills and experience will be a plus

  • Experience with SIP messages and understanding of dependence of VoIP technologies on underlying carrier networks (SIP, PSTN)

  • Familiarity of the UC network architecture

  • Understanding of network switching and routing as related to a Unified Communications and Voice over IP networks, including SIP protocol suite

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

  • Familiarity and understanding of best IT practices (ITIL)

  • Good spoken/written English skills

  • Good analytical skills
