Purpose of the job/ Overall responsibility:
DSV Load Board is responsible for the end-to-end product management of the following products:
- DSV Load Board: Enables dispatchers to efficiently find internal and external capacity by publishing load offers on DSV’s own marketplace (Drive4DSV Haulier Portal) as well as on external freight exchanges such as Timocom, Trans.eu and Teleroute
- e-POD (Electronic Proof of Delivery): Enables internal and external carriers to report transport execution events and submit the POD document digitally
- c-POD (Contactless Signature): Enables consignees to sign for a delivery on their own device
The Manager owns the product vision, roadmap and team backlog, prioritizes to maximize product value across short- and long-term planning, and steers a cross-functional team of 8 developers, 1 solution designer and 1 tester.
Responsibility/ Tasks:
- Product value and adoption: Measurable increase in digital adoption (e.g. share of load offers receiving digital quotes) and in user satisfaction
- Delivery: Agreed roadmap milestones delivered on time and within budget
- Stakeholder engagement: Positive feedback from business stakeholders on communication and alignment of the product direction
- Risk management: Product risks identified early, communicated transparently and mitigated effectively
- Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap in alignment with business stakeholders and the Tribe Lead
- Manage and prioritize the team backlog to maximize product value
- Define, document and validate business requirements together with stakeholders and the PDD organization
- Plan and monitor the product backlog and escalate deviations to stakeholders in time
- Steer the team in day-to-day delivery, applying appropriate agile practices
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks to product success
- Coordinate dependencies and integrations with external freight exchanges and adjacent internal systems
