Position target:

As a part of a GBS Project Management Team, you will be responsible for managing, facilitating and high-quality end delivery of projects, which may cover business development, process optimisation, re-organisations, and process deployments.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Project management in accordance with the Prince2 methodology, up to date DSV Project Model and applicable methodologies governing the specification of the allotted project.
• Responsibility to plan, manage, deploy, mitigate risks and follow-up on assigned projects according to the defined methods including:

1. mapping and documenting processes and their optimization
2. facilitation and management of project team members
3. steering communication strategy with respect to all project stakeholders
4. participation in meetings with internal and external partners and customers
5. timely and high-quality delivery instructions / maps / checklists / overviews / reports about the implemented processes and project progress (according to DSV adhering standards and policies)
6. maintaining close cooperation to respective DSV functions in terms of change management and proactive “Business Case” realization planning of the project

• Complex, proactive, and solution-driven professional stakeholder management as per need and project situation in various governance set-ups (mainly internal DSV stakeholders).
• Project status and progress reporting to project stakeholders according to defined structures, i.e., project team, board, executive, but also to GBS Project Management leadership or other identified by management relevant project stakeholders.
• Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection.
• Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values of DSV.
• Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.

Work performed in Warsaw, Poland. Travel activities may be expected.

Education and skills:

• Master’s degree.
• Very good command of English (DSV corporate language)
• Certification in Prince2/Scrum/Agile is an advantage
• MS Office knowledge
• Ability to manage/develop project teams
• Ability to motivate employees
• Team player
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Minimal work experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience managing large / international projects
• Knowledge of the transport and/or production industry (is an advantage)
• Experience in working in a large / international organization, preferably in the Shared Service or BPO area
