Join our Group Project Management Office
In the DSV Group Project Management Office (GPMO), you will be a part of a group of 160+ highly professional colleagues. Our mission is to provide high-quality services and manage projects for the DSV organisation, supporting business and group functions in executing global strategies.
You will be responsible for leading complex projects / programmes, which are directly linked to DSVs strategy and are mainly focused around Air&Sea and Road Business corporate: portfolio, projects and programmes.
Based in Warsaw, Poland, you will have access to a wealth of knowledge and work closely with the GPMO management team as well as senior stakeholders in DSV. Your projects will be spanning across our Business Divisions, Group Finance, Compliance and Group IT.
Leave your mark on global projects
You will be responsible for managing medium to large Air&Sea and Road Business corporate projects and programmes that are linked directly to the DSV strategy. Your projects may consist of multiple teams and workstreams that will vary in size and complexity.
Collaborating with GPMO colleagues situated in more than 10 countries, you will support the following DSV Strategic Priorities:
- Operations:
- Lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects and programmes mainly in the Business Area e.g. implementation of the TMS system
- The projects may consist of multiple teams / workstreams and require integration with other teams / activities outside the project scope
- Customers:
- Close cooperation with stakeholders, which includes both team members in the project, as well as senior and executive management of DSV
- Proactive issue handling and managing ‘upwards’ is key due to the strategic importance of the projects
- Leadership
- Be leader of leaders who has the ability to lead by example
- Inspire confidence and a ‘common purpose’ within the projects to foster team spirit and continued success
- Present strong communication skills and confidence when addressing larger audiences, be it through workshops, project boards, townhalls etc.
Your will:
- Develop business projects from the Initiation Stage to Operation – following our standard GPMO process and governance
- Potentially handle task and time management of external partners, service providers and consultants
- Manage the project and subsequent task alignment of project members, including potential country implementations across all project stages starting from business case initiation to hypercare
- Handle budgets and ensure close control of project costs across multiple teams

- You possess strong communication skills and excel at building and sustaining business relationships as your working conditions may include EVP level stakeholders across the organization
- Your strong management and coaching abilities enable you to lead effectively while confidently addressing challenges and differing opinions
- You can stand your ground when others challenge you
- Moreover, you are adept at navigating both top management and team-level dynamics. With experience in international and high-performanceenvironments, you thrive in diverse and demanding settings
The Professional Qualifications we are looking for:
- Experience within either Air&Sea or Road Business for at least 5 years is a must
- Experience with TMS Roll out is a huge advantage
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Comprehensive understanding of Project Management models i.e. Prince2 and/or agile frameworks
- Proficient/fluent in English
- 5+ continuous project management experience with large corporate projects – excluding sales projects – preferably from a driving business change
- A bachelor degree (as a minimum) or higher in a relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal corporate English language skills (Oral Danish is an advantage)
- Are eligible to live and work in Poland
