Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and decisions for the Kafka area with our other solution architects
• Ensure technical governance is obtained in the application
• Ensure stability in the platform
• Maintaining architectural runway
• Producing and maintaining solution documentation in alignment with DSV’s documentation standards and our strategy and drive solution implementation according to these designs e.g. Reference architecture​
• Working closely with Product Owners, Enterprise Architecture and Security to incorporate DSV architectures and clarify any challenges in the domain
• Manage changes to solutions, updating the solution design and documentation accordingly​
• Work with technology partners and other third-party providers, product owners, scrum masters and scrum teams to do release and sprint planning​
• Analyze complex business problems/requirements and produce solution designs to allow the delivery teams to solve them
• Service Catalogue updates
• Governance model towards stakeholder e.g. PMO, BCM’s etc.
• Work with given strategy and setting the direction for specialists
• Apply broad technical, industry and enterprise knowledge to architecture designs to meet IT requirements and resolve (identified) constrains
• Act as a technical mentor for the team
• Document and present the design and capabilities of the solution/platform and how it fits into the larger solution space
• Ensure Enterprise Data models are represented in Schema Repository
• Assist in continuedly improving the Integration Marketplace to the benefit of data requesters

Development process:

• Guidance is given to potential requestors seeking information on new integrations

Communication:

• Communication on larger changes or initiatives is composed and sent to stakeholders
• Enquiries towards processes and policies are answered
• PowerPoints are created and updated as needed
• Higher management is kept informed about relevant matters

Initiatives:

• SharePoint site is updated and maintained
• Development two-year roadmap is developed and maintained
• Development strategic initiatives are carried out according to roadmap
• Governance baseline is created and priority initiatives are carried out

Profile:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or similar​
• Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing in English.​
• Ability to communicate on different levels of abstraction depending on the target group.​
• Experience in architecting and defining standards and specifications with particular focus on integrations in a cloud-based environment, hybrid and multi-cloud
