Job Description:

The Process Automation & Business Intelligence Department is looking for a QA Software Tester to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of RPA, BPA, web-based and business intelligence solutions delivered across DSV GBS. Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Business Process Owners and other stakeholders, you will plan and execute manual testing activities, validate new functionality, identify and verify defects, and help deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and support operational excellence.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Analyse application requirements to support the testing process for RPA and BPA projects
  • Design, develop, maintain and execute manual test plans, test cases and test scripts based on product requirements
  • Estimate test effort based on project documentation and collaboration with Business Analysts
  • Identify and document software defects throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Track reported defects in Jira and verify implemented fixes
  • Identify and communicate testing, product and project risks to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business representatives by scheduling, preparing and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and other Agile ceremonies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams

 

Our requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Experience using Jira, TestRail or similar tools for defect tracking and test management
  • Basic understanding of SQL, including the ability to write simple queries and work with databases
  • Familiarity with Chrome DevTools
  • Experience with functional, regression, integration, system and acceptance testing
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Attention to detail, curiosity and critical thinking
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • A systematic and organised approach to work
  • Experience with API testing with tool such as Postman and Swagger
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Power BI or Business Intelligence solutions
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Interest in using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot) to improve productivity, documentation and software testing activities
