We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join the Road IT QA team supporting key digital products in Road Logistics, including TMS, shipment tracking, route optimisation and logistics integrations. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks, ensuring system quality, reliability and performance, as well as close collaboration with developers, product teams and business stakeholders in an Agile setup.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for logistics applications and APIs
  • Build scalable automation solutions for regression, integration and end to end testing
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and develop test plans aligned with delivery milestones
  • Contribute to automation strategy and test architecture; identify automation opportunities across TMS, booking, route planning, billing and tracking systems
  • Execute functional, integration, regression and API testing, validating data accuracy, integrations and workflows
  • Support performance and reliability testing of logistics systems
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with developers and DevOps, and provide defect reporting and quality insights
  • Improve automation frameworks, monitor test results and maintain quality dashboards

 

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software testing with strong focus on automation
  • Hands on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot or similar frameworks; API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, Karate
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python or JavaScript; experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and strong understanding of software testing principles and defect management

Nice to have

  • Experience in Road Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain systems; exposure to TMS, shipment tracking, fleet management or route optimisation
  • Experience testing microservices and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, ability to switch between abstraction levels, proactive relationship building, teamwork, resilience under pressure and solid judgment
