  • Understanding of company‘s Vision and Strategy.
  • Responsible for operating the branch within budget parameters established.
  • Achieve agreed income & expense budgets, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Direct business policies to achieve short/long-term to increase profitability, product scope & service quality.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant Government / Legal demands and ethical standards.
  • Ensure that business is carried out according to DSV standards, compliance and policies.
  • Manage day-to-day branch activities within the area assigned.
  • Provide proactive leadership, guidance, training and performance feedback to the team.
  • Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary expertise / tools / resources to achieve assigned tasks in a high quality and efficient manner.
  • Be the managing contact for our network partners and critical regional/local customers.
  • Act as the lead facilitator for customer issue resolutions, related to service performance issues.
  • Develop strong relations with air / ocean / domestic service vendors, that will ensure DSV has a ‘preferred standing’ in the priority handling of our cargo. Oversee right vendor selection / quality / evaluation / costing optimization.
  • Other tasks assigned by superior.
