Job Req Number:  124955
Time Type: Full Time

What You'll Do

You'll work with our Operational Sustainability Managers (OSMs) and teams across Asia-Pacific to help logistics make the world better.

You might help identify opportunities to reduce emissions, eliminate waste, increase renewable energy, or improve operational performance.

You may track and advise on warehouse improvement projects, helping ideas move from concept to implementation.

You may develop tools, automations, and smarter processes that reduce administrative work and allow teams to focus on creating impact.

You may work with developers, suppliers, recyclers, customers, and industry partners to build more circular and regenerative systems.

You may help evaluate solar opportunities, support fossil-free logistics initiatives, explore circular economy pilots, or identify solutions nobody has considered yet.

You will often connect people, projects, and ideas that can create more value together than they could alone.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities

The Sustainability Specialist will support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives across the APAC Contract Logistics business.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting and coordinating sustainability initiatives across APAC countries.
• Working closely with Operational Sustainability Managers (OSMs) to identify opportunities, exchange best practices, and accelerate implementation of sustainability programs.
• Tracking and advising on warehouse improvement projects related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, emissions reduction, waste reduction, water conservation, and resource optimization.
• Supporting sustainability reporting, KPI tracking, performance monitoring, and data analysis.
• Identifying opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve data quality, efficiency, and transparency.
• Supporting renewable energy initiatives such as the No Naked Roofs campaign.
• Supporting decarbonization initiatives under the Fossil Free Logistics campaign.
• Supporting circular economy and resource optimization initiatives under the Zero Waste Warehouse campaign.
• Researching and evaluating new technologies, recyclers, suppliers, service providers, and strategic partners that can help create more circular and regenerative logistics systems.
• Supporting customer sustainability initiatives, sustainability-related customer requests, and the development of customer-facing sustainability solutions.
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations, business cases, project proposals, communications, and sustainability-related training materials.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and automation that help the business create greater sustainability impact at scale.
• The ideal candidate combines sustainability interest with curiosity, initiative, collaboration skills, and a desire to create practical impact through logistics and supply chain operations.

Qualifications & Experience

This position is designed as a Sustainability Specialist role, typically suited to someone in the early stages of their sustainability career. However, we are intentionally flexible regarding years of experience.

We welcome candidates who have developed relevant skills in operations, engineering, logistics, consulting, project management, analytics, facilities management, environmental management, or other fields and are looking to apply those skills to sustainability.

We are looking for someone with the potential to grow, collaborate with Operational Sustainability Managers (OSMs) across APAC, and contribute to regional sustainability programs, rather than someone who simply meets a predefined number of years in the field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline, although equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Professional certifications such as ISO 14001, LEED AP, CEM, GRI, WELL AP, TRUE Advisor, ILFI AP, or similar are appreciated but not required.
