For our fast growing division DSV Solutions, based in Venlo, we are looking for a:


Controlroom Specialist


Are you the person who can keep an overview where the heartbeat of the logistics operation is determined for our automated warehouse?


What will you be doing? 
As a Controlroom Specialist you are responsible for the start-up, monitoring, control and shut-down of the production processes in the automated warehouse. You anticipate disruptions and predictions. From all systems you are able to retrieve data necessary to give the right guidance to the colleagues on the floor so that the established KPIs are realised. You constantly keep the intended purpose of the day in mind and ensure that the operation continues to work according to plan with your input. Where necessary, you escalate the processes. 

The team consists of 2-4 fellow control room specialists, who report to the Control Room Supervisor. The team works in two shifts and occasionally at the weekend.  


Other tasks in your role are:
•    Controlling and monitoring the progress of the processes;
•    Providing input for updates to the various stakeholders;
•    Solving first-line problems and identifying improvement processes;
•    Communicating with the operation about the status of the process flow, changes and required steering;
•    Creating and managing the users and user rights in the warehouse management systems.
